Dear Mr. Quillish Wammy
Sorry that this is written in crayon, but i couldnt find a pen and i dont have enough time too
my name is Alice and im nine years old, i know that its unorthadox for me to ask this of you, but i was wondering if it was possible for me to come and live at your orphanage, i know you'll think this request a little strange, but how many nine year olds do you know that can write like this?
Anyway, my parents are divorced and neither of them look after me, even though i dont like them i'd rather live with one of them than the person i live with now. She's very very nasty and scary and i hate her, she hits and kicks me and calls me mean names, she slashed a knife across my arm a few weeks ago and now i have a long scar all the way down it stretching right to the tip of my pinkie finger, im very scared about what else she'll do
And i dont know what i should do, if you dont reply im afraid i might have to run away and im unsure of how long i'd survive on the streets
